She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Kelly and Clare Kelly; and her parent-in-law Gord. She is survived by: her husband Bryan G. Nichols; her children, Jarrod (Toronto) and Quinn (London); her siblings, Colleen Kelly (London), Gene (Rhonda Kelly), Kathryn (Martin Ritsma), Betty (Jim Caley) and Rose (Joe Zelwietro); her parents-in-law, Elaine Nichols, Larry, Marie Nichols, Lynn Nichols, Donnagene Sjaarda (late Ted), Clare and Valerie Nichols; her friends, Wendy and Tammie; and her sister-in-law Val. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She "failed" retirement, returning to LHSC in 2020 to join the fantastic team at the Covid Assessment Centre during the Pandemic.
