With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Lawrence Deir (Athens, Ontario), who passed away on September 6, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, David shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid David farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Michael Deir and Florence Young.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Glen Elbe Cemetery (855 County Rd 42, Athens, ON K0E1B0).
