He was predeceased by: his former wife Ursula Zen; his child Sabine Stapells (Anthony); his grandchildren, Marcus and Tristan; his sibling Willi Viet; his parents, Ernst Viet and Anna Kins; and his brother Otta Viet.
He is survived by: his wife Nellie Sue Manns; his children, Anita Jones (Bill) and James Manns (Tammy); his grandchildren, Ashley, Amanda Haliare (Max), Adam, Joshua (Courtney), Amber and Jade; and his great grandchildren, Ethan, Lucas, Zach, Melody, Isaac and Zion.
Donations to The Alzheimer's Society, will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
