She was predeceased by: her brothers, Alec of Portland and Russell McWhirter of Lyndhurst; and her parents, Robert McWhirter and Nan Brown. She is survived by: her son Scott Alguire of Athens; her grandchildren, Danny and Madison Alguire of Brockville; her sister Pearl Layng of Athens; and her sisters-in-law, Beverly McWhirter, Doris Alguire and Joyce Alguire. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends.
