Wallace Stewart Singleton Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wallace Stewart Singleton (Athens, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 29, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Singleton (Eyre); his parents, Stewart Hough and Florence Hough; his siblings-in-law, Donald, Wesley, Lawrence, Gord, Douglas, Alice, Marion and Grace; his nephew Paul Eyre; and his niece Debra Michel.
He is survived by: his daughters, Joan Goodfellow (Bryan) and Marilyn Cloutier (Ray); his grandchildren, Rob Goodfellow, Erin Goodfellow (Matt Seary) and Ryan Cloutier; his great grandchildren, Mya and Brooklynn; his sister Margaret Singleton; and his sisters-in-law, Jean Young, Thelma Eyre, Madeline Eyre and Beverly Eyre.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Athens United Church (17 Church St, Athens, ON K0E1B0). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Athens United Church, Maple View Lodge, or CPHC will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
