He was predeceased by: his parents, Stewart Hamilton and Annie Hamilton; his siblings, Gordon (Doris), Marjory Saunders (Reg), Pat (Margaret), Irene MacMillan (Leonard), Viola Lawson (Joe), Lorne (Marie), Charles, Helen Blair (John), Muriel Wheatley (John), Elizabeth, Eric (Trudy) and Kenneth (Shirley); and his brother-in-law Grant Baker.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hamilton; his children, Scott (Christine), Michel (Elena Berezkina) and Shelley (Kevin Manning); his grandchildren, Jessica, Benjamin, Kasper, Isaac, Isabelle Hamilton, Carson Fenlong (Karey) and Joshua Fenlong; his siblings, Edna Baker and Garnet Hamilton (Evelyn); his aunt Mary Crummy; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley, Gary (Pat), Carolyn Young (James), Kathy, Julie, Deborah (Robert McArthur), Joseph and Michelle Whitmore. He is also survived by his family and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Judson Funeral Home (3 Elgin St S, Athens, ON K0E1B0). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
