With profound sadness, we say goodbye to June Bertha Munro of Atikokan, Ontario, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. June left this world on October 26, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Adeline Bonneyman and Finnley Bonneyman; her husband Frederick Munro; her children, Irwin Munro, Kelly Munro and Brenda Wood; and her siblings, Layton Stanley, Melvin, Mildred, Thelma, Vera, Harriet and Shirley.

She is survived by: her daughter Dawn Munro (Perry); her son-in-law Richard Wood; her grandchildren, Jared Wood (Stacey), Cody Wood, Ryland and Kelly Briska (Alysha); her great grandchildren, Kolby, Kaden, Jaxon and Colton Wood; her siblings, Pansy Hamel and Allen Bonnyman (Marg); and her close friend Eunice Bang. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to the Atikokan Extended Care Wing in her memory.
