He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Hamilton; his great grandchild Anniston; and his parents, Gordon Hamilton and Ethel Hamilton. He is survived by: his children, Julie Hamilton of Kincardine, Rob Hamilton (Leanne) of Atwood, Scott Hamilton (Leanne) of Listowel and Kimberley Reis (Nicholas) of Belle Vallée; his grandchildren, Kelly Guy (Mike), Kendra Brown (Derek), Justin Hamilton (Ashlee), Josie McKay (Dave), Alicia Byiman (Jacob), Stephanie Cox (Kris), Cassandra Brodhaecker (Matt), Destiney Van Dam (Nick), Shelby Carson (Luc Danien), Dylan Carson (Julia) and Sydney (Campbell Kippen); and his great grandchildren, Bronwyn, Jael, Hunter, Olivia, Keegan, Payton, Sully, Maria, Colton, Kiera, Conner, Bazz, Kayce, Blayz, Audrey, Jaxson, Sophie, Callum and Eliana.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brenneman Funeral Home (141 John St, Atwood, ON N0G1B0). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Atwood Presbyterian Church (140 Monument Rd, Atwood, ON N0G1B0).
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society or Huronlea Home for the Aged Recreation Fund would be appreciated.
