She was predeceased by : her spouse Sterling Hood; her parents, Joseph Jacklin and Mae Jacklin (Conley); her siblings, Archie (Doris), Lloyd, Glen, Evelyn Nichol (Weldon), Marjorie Bray (Stan) and Myrtle Jacklin; and her brother-in-law Bob Grubb.

She is survived by : her children, Greg Hood (Joanne) and Debra Cockwell (Brian); her grandchildren, Laura (Mark), Lisa, Nigel and Jillian; her great grandchildren, Margaret and William; her sibling Sharon Grubb; and her sibling-in-law Twyla Jacklin.
