He was predeceased by : his parents, William Gordon and Edith Gordon (Reid). He is survived by : his wife Ruby Gordon (Hanna); his children, Billy, Mark, Bruce and Katherine; and his sister Doreen. He is also survived by four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
