With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Subject (Atwood, Ontario), who passed away on April 13, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Christian Subject and Emma Subject (Marsh); and his siblings, Kenneth, Mervin, Carl, George, Bruce, Madeline, Emmaline and Elaine.

He is survived by : his wife Iola (Bell); his children, Brenda McKinnon, Harold Subject (Bev) and Kevin Subject (Wendy); his grandchildren, Jesse (Nicole), Curtis, Cody (Saunie), Bobby (Carrie), Stacey (Sean) and Trevor (Marnee); his great grandchildren, Isla, Kinzley, Michael, Olivia, Avery and Liam; and his siblings, Betty Szucs, Doris Ensinger (Danny), Ella Pfieffer, Albert Subject (Sheila), Donna Subject, Joanne Subject and Jennifer Subject.

“I remember John fondly from, Harold and my, Elma Logan hockey days. My dad, Peter, certainly counted John as a good friend, both from the arena, and their Lions Club time. Thinking of you during this sad time. I know John struggled with health for many years and probably deserves the rest. Peace and love, Paul Dekker.”
