She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernadette Rath and Clarence Rath; her son Kent Howatt; and her sister Joyce Radford (Len). She is survived by: her husband Gordon Howatt; her sons, Kevin Howatt of Waterloo and Keith Howatt (Shelley) of Chestermere, Alberta.; her grandsons, Michael (Bre) and Matthew (Cailea); and her sisters, Sandra Whitfield (Carl) and Yvonne Youngblut (Lyle). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and many good friends.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
