Donald Plunkett Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 30, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Donald Plunkett of Auburn, Ontario. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Plunkett and Elizabeth Plunkett; his brothers, Andy and Gordon Plunkett; his son William Thompson; and his grandson Kenny Plunkett.

He is survived by: his friend Joan Pinter of Ingersoll; his children, Andy (Carolynne Thompson), Betty (Barry Powley), Jim (Sheila Thompson), Stephen (Cindy Plunkett), David (Julie Plunkett) and Darryl (Susan Plunkett); and his sister-in-law Jewell Plunkett. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

“In loving memory of Donald Plunkett, Please accept our most heartfelt sympathies for your loss. There was never a time that Dooley didn't have a story or joke to tell. I remember playing crib with him and he would rub above his ear for luck before he cut the deck. He was a character and every time I hear someone say "Did you hear the one about the guy" I think of him. He meant a lot to me and he will be missed but never forgotten. Love Jeff,Marlene Sangster and family.”
