He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Bonnie Kierstead; his children, David Kierstead and Kyle Kierstead; his stepchildren, Nicci Gray (Ben Gray) and Rhonda Woolley (Andrew Woolley); his grandchildren, Emma, Jacob, Cooper, Austin, Mackenzie and Danica; and his pets, Chance and Lucky.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Daniel's memory may be made to the Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) Foundation, in the hope that continued research and support will help other families facing this devastating disease.
