He was predeceased by: his brothers, Arthur and Jimmy; and his mother Ruhe. He is survived by: his children, Gabriele and Monica (Chris); his grandchildren, Miles, Aaron, Alyssa, Ava, Julia, Parker and Brock; his significant other Maureen; and his siblings, Erika and Peter.

Donations in Eric's honour, may be made to any of the charities he generously supported: Heart & Stroke Foundation & SickKids Hospital or to the Alzheimer's Association.
