He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Joyce; his children, Richard, Kathryn (David Burke), Stephen (Diane) and Karyn (Marc Horlings); his grandchildren, Amber (Danny DeRose), Brittany Bulgin, Andrew Burke (Briane), Jocelyn, Kyle, Trevor, Keith Bulgin, Mackenzie, Joseph, Tyler and Nathan Horlings; and his great grandchildren, Joseph, Emma DeRose, Madelyn Vincent-Innes, Guy Nikitin (Burke), Ivy Burke, Remington Bulgin and Bennett Bulgin.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, January 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home (157 Main St S, Newmarket, ON L3Y3Y9). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home - Playter Chapel (157 Main St S, Newmarket, ON L3Y3Y9). A reception was held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home - Reception Room (157 Main St S, Newmarket, ON L3Y3Y9). A burial was held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Aurora Cemetery (14253 Yonge St, Aurora, ON L4G0P2).
