He is survived by: his wife Guadalupe; his children, José, Lya and Raul Jr.; and his grandchildren, Bianca, Mateo, Diego, Gloria, Valentina and Oscar.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Our Lady of Grace Church (15347 Yonge St, Aurora, ON L4G1N7). A reception was held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 from 11:45 AM to 2:00 PM at the Thompson Funeral Home, Heritage Room (530 Industrial Pkwy S, Aurora, ON L4G6W8).
