We announce the death of Ruth Huttman of Aurora, Ontario, who passed away on September 11, 2026, at the age of 79. Ruth will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Ruth will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Ruth will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Ruth’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ron; and her parents, Rose and Basil (Bud). She is survived by: her son Brett (Kirsten); her brothers, Bill, Robert and Allan; and her grandchildren, William and Laura. She is also survived by her family, friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Thompson Funeral Home (530 Industrial Pkwy S, Aurora, ON L4G6W8).
