With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Aart Veldhuizen of Aylmer, Ontario, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Aart left this world on December 23, 2025, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Aart leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He was predeceased by: his spouse Kim Sheppard-Veldhuizen; his siblings, Hennie Veldhuizen (Pauline), Ena VanViegen (Conrad) and Winnie Cornelissen; and his parents, Aart and Geurtje.

He is survived by: his children, Suzan Johnson (Peter), Ron Veldhuizen (Anita), Lorraine Councell (Danny) and Kathy Hayhoe (Ron). He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
