She was predeceased by : her spouse Jacobus "Koos" Versteegen; her son Big Tony; her granddaughter Chelsie Ward; her siblings, Tony, Hank, Bertha and Marie; and her parents, Jacobus G. "Jack" Hermans and Hendrika Hermans (Smits).

She is survived by : her children, Deanna Ward (Paul), Irene Versteegen-Buis (Larry), Phine Bennett (Blake), Jeff Versteegen (Karen) and Tony Versteegen (Annette); her grandchildren, Megan, Jeremy (Samantha), Simon, Katie (Kenny), Lance (Mariska), Bobbie-Jo, Blake (Nikki), Jill (Luke), Jeffrey, Matthew (Lilly), Alicia (James) and Dalton (Ceilidh); her great grandchildren, Clayton, Jeff, Christine, Tyler, Johnathan, Sean, Aaron, Serena, Bridget, Bryson and Brayton; and her siblings, Jacquiline Jacobs (Theo) and Josephine Bangarth (Daniel). She is also survived by in-laws, nieces and nephews.
