He was predeceased by: his wife Nellie Van Dyk (Hoffer); his child Lou Van Dyk; his siblings, Joe, John, Jim, Tony, Leo, Frank, Pete, Betty, Mary, Helen and Henrietta; and his parents, Leonard Dyk and Johanna Van Dyk (Lamers).
He is survived by: his daughter Linda Deller (Kirby) of Aylmer; his granddaughters, Danielle (Adam), Amanda, Brittany (Fu) and Kendra (Colin); and his siblings, Tina Vanderwetering (late Harry) and Henry Van Dyk (Anna Marie). He is also survived by his six great-grandchildren.
