He was predeceased by : his wife Elaine Wilkins (Killough); his siblings, Ruth and Ken; his daughter Lori Costello; and his parents, Graham Wilkins and Mildred Wilkins (Sheppard).

He is survived by : his children, Gary Wilkins (Arlene) of Flesherton, Barbara Squires (Bob Walpole) of St. Thomas, Christine Lenton (Gary) of Ottawa and Brian Wilkins (Cheryl) of Pembroke; his grandchildren, Dustin, Cal, Jan, Brian, Rebecca, Marc, Luc, Jocelyn, Brian Jr. and Shannon; and his sisters, Leone, Doreen, Eleanor and Lillian. He is also survived by his 9 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
