He was predeceased by: his wife Eileen Cole; and his brother Frank. He is survived by: his children, Hazel Cole, Tom Cole (Jondah), Allan Cole (Brenda) and Ross Cole (Cheryl); his grandchildren, Wesley, Hayley, Diane, Melanie, Lisa, Jeff, Jennifer, Shannon and Brad; his sister Laura; and his sibling-in-law Beryl.
