He was predeceased by: his parents, Johan Unger and Katharina Unger (Friesen). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Unger (Fehr); his children, Lizzy Friesen (Dave), Tina Harder (Pete), Jason Unger, Jeffery Friesen and Ronaldo Friesen; his grandchildren, Laura, Sophia, Jennifer, Susie, Joshua, Melissa and Lucy; and his siblings, Jake, Susanna, Henry, Justina, John, Tina, Lisa and Helena. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home (119 Talbot St E, Aylmer, ON N5H1H3). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Bradley Street Church of God (5 Bradley St, Aylmer, ON N5H2Y4).
