He was predeceased by : his spouse Augusta Vandierendonck (Bossuyt); his granddaughter Natasha Boersema; his brothers, Roger Vandierendonck and Daniel Vandierendonck; and his parents, Henri Vandierendonck and Gabriella Vandierendonck (Roose).
He is survived by : his children, Rosemary Vandierendonck, Mary Jane Boersema (Harry), Terry Vandierendonck (Jo-Anne), Nancy Snyder (Paul), Patty Vandierendonck (Adriano Trinaistich) and Janet Salter (Mike); his grandchildren, Kate Sparling, Laura Brunskill (Jon), Cody Snyder (Deanna Simpson), Nicole Boersema, Ryan Snyder, Alex of Castro and Ashley Snyder; his great grandchildren, Miles and Reid Brunskill; and his siblings-in-law, Clarice Vandierendonck, Marjorie Bossuyt and Lucien Bossuyt.
