With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hilda Moritz of Aylmer, Ontario, who passed away on November 15, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Moritz; her siblings, Arno and Astrid (Bruce); and her parents, Johann Wishnewski and Emma Wishnewski (Reif).
She is survived by: her daughter Heidi Van Overloop (Carl) of Aylmer; her siblings, Gerhard (Carol), Waldi (Rosi), Alfred (Margaret) and Renate "Jeanette" (John); and her sibling-in-law Elli. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Donations to the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital Foundation or the Barrie Family Hospice of Elgin would be appreciated.
