He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Guenther (Friesen); his son George; his siblings, Elisabeth, Frank, Peter, Abe and Isaak Guenther; and his parents, Johan Guenther and Elisabeth Guenther (Friesen).
He is survived by: his children, Peter (Helen), Susie, John (Sue), Mary (Jake), Jake, Lisa, Anna (Carlos) and Tina (Willy); and his siblings, Katharina Froese, George and John Guenther. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
