James Gregory Currie Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Gregory Currie of Aylmer, Ontario, born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 12, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Augustine Currie and Emma May Currie; his granddaughter Amanda Bolt; and his siblings, George, Jerry, Kevin and Roy Currie.

He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Currie; his daughter Christine Losher; his grandchildren, Aaron, Matt, Andrew, Benjamin, Zenon, Hudson, Jade, Christopher, Jessie and Devin; his great grandchild Maleah; his sister Linda Sheeler (Rick); and his sister-in-law Sharon Currie (Roy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
