We announce the death of Joan Burwell (Aylmer, Ontario), who passed away on October 2, 2026, at the age of 79. Joan will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Eleaner Palmer, Norman and Jim; her in-laws, Harold Burwell, Mick Burwell and Henry Moosberger; and her parents, Alexander McKnight and Bertha McKnight (Magee).
She is survived by: her children, Ken Burwell, Beth Gyurindak (Mark) and Rhonda Hanley (Bill); her grandchildren, Nicole (Wayne), Jade (Ryan), Matthew (Danielle) and Leah (Josh); her great grandchildren, Reese, Jack, Quinn, Andrea, Jake, Maxton and Roxanne; her sisters-in-law, Mary McKnight, Marlene Moosberger, Mary Burwell and Mary French (Steve); and her pets, Browning and Muffin. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home (119 Talbot St E, Aylmer, ON N5H1H3). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
