He was predeceased by: his son Bennie; his grandsons, Randy and Kurtis; his siblings, Peter, David, Ben, Franz, George, Katharina and Aganetha; and his parents, Peter Krahn and Katherina Krahn (Rempel).

He is survived by: his wife Maria Krahn (Neufeld); his children, Tina Loewen (Rick) of St. Thomas, Helena Nancekievill (Steve) of Gravenhurst, Marie Dyck (David) of Aylmer, Peter Krahn (Susie) of Aylmer, John Krahn (Judy) of Eden, Nettie Musselman (Dave) of South Carolina, Margaret Berg (Abe) of Straffordville, Dave Krahn (Lorie) of North Carolina, Lisa Kuepfer (Dannie) of Straffordville, George Krahn (Cathy) of South Carolina and Anne Bergen (Peter) of Tillsonburg; and his brothers, Jake and Cornelius. He is also survived by his 41 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren.
