He was predeceased by: his spouse Evelene "Ev" Major (Smith); his brother Wayne; and his parents, Douglas Major and Eleanor Major (Luxton). He is survived by: his sons, Doug Major (Auralee) of Aylmer and Rob Major of Alberta; his grandchildren, Riley (April) and Justis; his great grandchildren, Kylie and Railyn; his brother Neil Major (Jane); and his siblings-in-law, Paul Smith (Brenda), Norma Major (late Ron) and Ann Nicholson (Don). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home (119 Talbot St E, Aylmer, ON N5H1H3).
