Louisa Terpstra Obituary

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Louisa Terpstra who is at peace with our Lord and Saviour. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at London Health Science Centre on Thursday, November 23, 2017 in her 80th year. Beloved wife of 53 years to Harry Terpstra. Dear mother of Charyn Shearer (Greg) of Acton, Diane Oostrom (Russell) of Port Stanley, Harry Terpstra of Aylmer, Angela D'Alessandro (Alex) of Aylmer, and John (Jill) of St. Thomas.

Adored Oma to Sarah, Lauren, Bryanna, Jonathan, Ethan, Austin, Anthony, Zoe, Max and a number of nieces and nephews. Sister of Gertie, Tony (late Katie), Maurice (Willy) and Joe (Margaret). Sister-in-law of Mary, Nick, Case (Joyce), Leo (Henrika), Rudy (Mary Ann), Trucy (Gerrard), Mary (Andre), Joe (Mary), Cathy (Adrian), and Linda.

Predeceased by brother Leo, brother-in-law Tom, sister-in-law Edith. Born in Asten, The Netherlands on December 9, 1937, daughter of John and Ann (VanHeugten) Hoefnagels. A Funeral Mass in her honour will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows R.C. Church on Monday, November 27, 2017 at 10:00am . Special thank you to Father Ben Huyge.

Cremation has taken place. Donations to the Red Cross Society or Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church would be appreciated.
