She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Nelson and Beulah Nelson (Anger); her husband John Smith; her brother Jack Nelson; and her stepsons, John Smith and Jim Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Deb (Ed), Michael and Darryl (Ruth); and her stepchildren, Ed (Carol), Ron (Liz), Barrie (Kelly) and Debbie. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home (119 Talbot St E, Aylmer, ON N5H 1H3). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
