She was predeceased by : her husband Douglas Arnold Smith; her siblings, Shirley Demeter and Ray Ashford; and her parents, Myron "Barney" and Iva Ashford (West).
She is survived by : her children, Larry Smith of Aylmer and Sharon Murphy (Gary) of Dutton; her grandchildren, Melissa Vander (Ron), Annette Giffen (Allan), Carrie Walker (Sean) and Christopher VanLingen; and her great grandchildren, Justin, Kristen, David, Dawson, Lauren, Jade, Ryan, Hunter, Maeson and Emma. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
