He was predeceased by : his stepson Werner Wiebe; his siblings, Agatha Klassen, Tina Friesen, Jacob and Neta Peters; and his parents, Johan Thiessen and Maria Thiessen (Buehler).
He is survived by : his children, Robert Thiessen (Lisa) and Rose Thiessen; his stepchildren, Yolanda Guenther (John), Steven Wiebe (Elma) and Eddie Wiebe (Delilah); his grandchildren, Solomon, Samuel, Aiden, Destiny, Nixon, Oakley and Wilder Jack; and his siblings, Maria Elias, Anna Froese, Abram, Susie Neufeld and Lena Neufeld. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
