He was predeceased by : his wife Dorothy Lindsay; his granddaughter Pamela Flegel; his siblings, Helen Small, Marian Hetherington and Donald Lindsay; and his parents, Frank Lindsay and Marie Lindsay (Nelson).

He is survived by : his children, Barbara Elliot (Peter) of Milton, Colleen Paget (Phil) of Courtland, Mark Lindsay (Brenda) of London and Julie Lindsay (Brad) of Straffordville; his grandchildren, Alex (Ashley), Blake (Kristina), Tyler, Melissa (Richard), Cody (Marie) and Rachel (Trevor); and his great grandchild James. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
