He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Gloria Schnekenburger (Wilson); his children, Shirley Becht (Bob) of Tillsonburg, Laurie Beech (Steve) of St. Thomas and Roy Schnekenburger Jr. (Shannon) of Tillsonburg; his grandchildren, Ashley, Meagan (Kyle), Katie, Kyle (Shanna), Brittany (Josh), Maxx and Hilton; his parents, Homer Schnekenburger and Gladys Schnekenburger (Parker); and his pet Carter. He was also cherished by 7 great-grandchildren.
