With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Shearer of Aylmer, Ontario, born in Windsor, Ontario, who passed away on February 17, 2023. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruth Shearer to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her husband Ross Shearer; her siblings, Jackie Thompson, Ruby Davis, Norma Simpson, Joanne Beacom, Bud and Jim Thompson; and her parents, Emerson Thompson and Helen Thompson (Harvey).

She is survived by : her children, Vicki Bannon (Joe) of Ingersoll and Kelly Campbell (George Buttigieg) of Ingersoll; her grandchildren, Erin (Pat), Jessica (Stephen), Jennifer (Alex), Jared and Justin (Brittany); and her great grandchildren, J. J., Lili, James, Clayton, Marleau, Gavin, Chloe, Quinn and Finn.

Donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
