She was predeceased by: her brother Pieter Van Rheenen; and her parents, Tony Rheenen and Corrie Van Rheenen. She is survived by: her spouse Red Hooghiem; her children, Michael (Isabella) of Cambridge, Jeremy (Brooke) of Brampton, Bradley (Anna) of Colorado Springs and Nicole Iyer (Mathan) of Kitchener; her grandchildren, ElsjeBella, Caspian, Blade, Lylah and Desmond; her sisters, Margie De Jong (late Bill), Edith Spooner (late Dave) and Margaret Young (Roger); her siblings-in-law, Karen Van Rheenen, Annette Hartemink (Henry), Al Hooghiem (Randee) and Leinie Hartemink (Eric); and her parents-in-law, George and Corrie Hooghiem. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
