He was predeceased by: his siblings, Rosie Firby and Jack Carrel; his sister-in-law Janet Hiepleh; and his parents, Edward Carrel and Adele Carrel (Nant).
He is survived by: his wife Muriel Carrel (Howe); his children, Bob and Suzanne Carrel; his grandchildren, Katie Vis (Kevin), Crystal Colley (Jamie), Kim Kremers (Marc), Holly Marr (Tyler) and Heather Carrel (Matt); and his great grandchildren, Karson, Kailynn, Klayton, Kaden, Leah, Avery, Haylee, Adrian, Nolan and Luke. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
