He was predeceased by : his parents, Peter Wiebe and Katharina Wiebe; his child Freddie (Mona Desmarchais); and his siblings, John, Abe, Sara, Maria and Esther.

He is survived by : his children, Albert (Annie), Mary Carty (Brian), Edna Verbruggen (Rene) and Linda Loewen (John); his grandchild Aganetha Wiebe (Klassen); and his brother Peter (Trudy). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
