She was predeceased by: her husband Howard Weicker; her grandson Nathan Mitchell; her parents, Menno Shantz and Esther Shantz (Wismer); and her siblings, Willard Shantz, Esther "Stella" Shantz, John (Mary Shantz), Lydia "Rita" (Cyril Horsfall), Menno Shantz, Ella Mae (Don Luckhart), Irvine (Marjorie Shantz), Peter Shantz, Samuel Shantz and Marion (Ronald Linesman).

She is survived by: her children, Susan Kraftcheck (late Laurie) of Exeter, Marion Shantz of Plattsville, Laurie Thyssen (Wilf) of Paris and Tracy Sheard of Plattsville; her grandchildren, Erin (Willie Wong), Brendan, Nathan Kraftcheck, Nicholas (Tammy), Adam, Lyndsey Shantz (Brett Naisby), Stephanie King (Matt), Kristi Thyssen (Shiva Soondarsingh), Ashley (Stevie Land) and Andrew Sheard; her great grandchildren, Jaden, Lauren, Madison Wong, Cole, Luke Shantz, Carter, Brady Shantz, Ryker, Bennett, Kylee Naisby, Ethan King, Arya, Kali Soondarsingh and William Land; her sister-in-law Yvonne Shantz; her family Junior Farmers; Bridge. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated by the family.
