He was predeceased by : his siblings, Elizabeth Russel (Milton), Catherine Russel (Arnold), Emma Weber (George), Alma Janke, John Lantz (Violet), Ezra Lantz (Alice), Lloyd Fritz and Wilfred Weppler; and his parents, George Lantz and Emma Lantz (Becker).

He is survived by : his spouse Doreen (Lerch); his children, Bruce (Ivy) of Bancroft, Bonnie Becker (Ron) of Ayton, Joyce Nuhn (James) of Ayton, Deborah Becker (Gerald) of Ayton, George Jr, Linda Fidler (Bruce) of Hanover, Dale (Denise) of Owen Sound and Greg of Ayton; his sister Lavina Fritz of Hanover; and his brother-in-law Mel Janke of Waterloo.
