He was predeceased by: his wife Carmen (Soucy); his parents, Uldéric Levasseur and Maria Levasseur (Emond); and his siblings, Fernand (late Thérèse), Alban (late Corinne), Irma (late Murillo Pelletier), Lina (late Nil Pelletier) and Lucille Levasseur.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Levasseur-Brosseau (Roger), Stella Tanguay, Joan Tranchemontagne (Norman) and Guy Levasseur (Julie Frost); his grandchildren, Anique, Renée, Marc, Kim, Paul, Éric, Yves, Jessica, Mathieu and Carolynn; and his sister Pauline Matton of Sherbrooke. He is also survived by several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, and friends.
In memory of Edgar, a donation may be made to Maison McCulloch Hospice, Alzheimer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or to Ste-Agnès Parish, Azilda.
