Ada Jean Tinney Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 25, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Ada Jean Tinney (Bancroft, Ontario). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her sister Phyllis; and her parents, Sam Baumhour and Ina Baumhour. She is survived by : her husband Carl; her children, Noreen (Dave) of Bancroft, Scott (Lori) of Bancroft and Robin (Mary-Ann) of Toronto; her grandchildren, Carter and Alana; and her siblings, Doug (Jean) of Belleville, Pat Strong (Lloyd) of Lively, Lin Smith of St. Catharines, Garth, Norm, Ron and Bert. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews and by her many friends.

Donations in memory of Ada can be made to the Quinte Healthcare in Bancroft, or Canadian Cancer Society.

“Carl and family, I am sorry to learn of Ada's death. We, of course, shared years at NHHS, and I was always so pleased when she , in the last few years, would correspond with me now and then regarding my column topics. I also admired her art and craft work. She will be so missed but the memories will keep her alive. Thinking of you at this difficult time. Heather”
