It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Lawrence Donaldson (Bancroft, Ontario), who passed away on May 20, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Donaldson and Amy Donaldson (Carswell); and his siblings, Annabelle Neuman (Dan), Mary Lou Baragar (Ted), Jacquie Grant (Merle), Boyd Donaldson, Pat and Janice Donaldson.

He is survived by: his wife Lorraine; his children, Jeff, Allyson of Kingston, David of Oshawa, Julie and Scott Johnstone of Roslin; his grandchildren, Brianne, Dave, Jordan and Surya; his siblings, Bert (Betty Lou), Dixie (John Lang), Ted of Haliburton, Linda (Tom Lavalley), Mick (Karen) and Peter (Kathy); and his sister-in-law Peggy Donaldson.

As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Bancroft Hospital Fund Development or to Hospice North Hastings in Larry's memory.
