He was predeceased by : his siblings, Robert, Joan, Claire and Margaret; and his siblings-in-law, George, Robert, Jerome and Lois.

He is survived by : his wife Mary Lynn McGarry (Sirosky); his children, Laura Ann Childs (late Vince), Blaine McGarry (Rochelle) and Stephanie McGarry; his grandchildren, Mathiew, Colleen, Andrew and Sarah; his siblings, Thomas McGarry, Francis McGarry (Janice) and Marion Gill; and his siblings-in-law, Bernard Sirosky (Marlene), Terry Sirosky, Sheila Giroux (Ameilan) and Patricia Durling (Arthur). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Canadian Cancer Society – Relay for Life, or Hospice North Hastings would be appreciated by the family.
