He was predeceased by: his wife Joan McAllister (Parks); his siblings, Sarah Eagles, June Thompson, Larry McAllister and Karen McAllister; and his parents, Lawrence McAllister and Myrtle McAllister.

He is survived by: his children, Wayne of Fenelon Falls and Laura of Peterborough; his grandchildren, Kristen, Aaron and Brendan; and his siblings, Patrick McAllister (Diane) of Bancroft and Sandra McAllister of Wilberforce.
