With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ecil Sears (Bancroft, Ontario), who passed away on January 17, 2021. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ecil Sears to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his mothers, Clara Sears (Ray) and Doreen Sears (Mackey); and his siblings, Etta McCormick, Ella McDonald, Ethel Gaffney, Ezra Sears (Bud), Doreen and Elsie Sears.

He is survived by : his children, David (Joy) of Amherstview, Janice Carswell (Mark) of Oshawa and Dwayne (Tanya) of Bancroft; his grandchildren, Christena (Cameron Montrose), Meagan Sears, Zachary (Kristen), Jessica Carswell, Allison Carswell, Brittany (Brent Freymond), Brooke (Chad Wilson), Wyatt (Casey) and Sarah (Cameron Sager); and his great grandchildren, Stella, Hunter, Finnigan, Ezra and Maylyn.

The family would welcome donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation as expressions of sympathy.
