He was predeceased by : his parents, Agnes Bowers and Edward Bowers of Whitney; his sister Edna Castle; and his sister-in-law Catherine Bowers. He is survived by : his spouse Lenna Minnie; his children, Sheri Bowers and Sean Bowers (Katrina); his grandchildren, Dion, Tyler, Nia, Carter and Jaxon; his siblings, Viola Laginski, Joe Bowers, Joan, Rick Lee and Cheryl Stewart; his brother-in-law Trevor Castle; and his nieces and nephews, Kim, Melanie, Glen, Stephanie, Derek, Warren, Kristen and Cheyenne.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to Hospice North Hastings would be appreciated by the family.
